Will a different application of eyeliner make my eyes look bigger?

I am in shows for dancing and theatre and whenever I have to put on heavy makeup for the shows my friends always say I look great with eyeliner on. Thing is, my mom and I both agree the eyeliner makes my eyes look very small. I've always wanted to wear a nice sophisticated eyeliner to my classes and maybe a fun colorful eyeliner when I go out with my friends. Is there a specific color of eyeliner or way I can put the eyeliner on so that it will not make my eyes look minuscule?Will a different application of eyeliner make my eyes look bigger?
Use a small brush and first line your eyes from the inside (near the nose) to the middle of your iris with white eye-shadow.





Then, apply dark shadow only from the middle of your iris outward, extending slightly up and beyond your eye.





This will ';open'; the eye and give you a wider-eyed look.





For daytime, just blend your darker shadow so it is softer and not an obvious line.





Add color on the outside upper corner above your dark line for added fun.

put eyeliner on da outer half on da bottom. instead of all along da bottom.


i tried it %26amp; ppl say it works.
first: black or any bright color should be applied in a THIN line along your upper lashes; don't let it get to close to the inner corner of your eye; then line you INNER lower lashline with beige; this color will make your eyes look big and is better than a harsh white, which can look strange


i prefer eyeliner pencil to the liquid variety because it results in a softer, less precise look
you should apply eyeliner on the outside and inside of your eye. first try only putting it on the outer layer and if things don't work out, put it on inside. I hope this helps
do a smudge look on the corners of your eyes in whatever color u choose then add white or a very light shimmery eyeliner under eye line and on inside where glasses would rest rub it in makes eyes look more open
it all depends on your eye color. black can be very harsh looking so try a grey, brown, or blue. you just have to experiment and see what looks best.
try a eyeliner that is the color of ur eyes and put just a thin line on
Apply the liner right along the lash line and then go back and smudge softly. Revlon has a great eyeliner that has the smudger (for lack of better things to call that sponge like thing on the end ) on the other end of the eye-liner . This makes the eye look bigger than applying it on the inside of the eye and not so harsh as a solid bold lind. you can also follow up with a little eyeshadow over the top to make it more dramatic.
it depends on the shape of your eyes. but for almost all women, putting eyeliner on the bottom of your eye will always make your eyes look smaller. if you want them to look bigger, only put eyeling on the top. if you have close set eyes, then all the advice about lining only the outside corners of your eye will work.....otherwise it'll do nothing. you can wear any color you want while you're young. try any fun color that you like. just make sure you're using thin lines for a pop of color. =)
If you apply if all the way around your eyes it will make your eyes look smaller.





I apply my eye liner about 60-75% of the top of my eye lid and then on the bottom i put it just under my eye lashes in the corner. It's very little on the bottom. I make sure it's thin and then I smudge it a little bit and my eyes look very large with it.





You may also want to try corresponding your eye liner with eye shadow. It helps too.

If you want to make your eyes pop you should probably put on a color eyeliner the color opposite of your eye.





Example: If you have blue eyes, brown and burgandy would make them really stand out. If you have brown eyes and put on a shade of blue, they will look very nice, and so on.
put a layer on ur lash line then in the middle, as u go towards the middle make the line thicker and then once u reach themiddle,start going thinner until u reach the other corner of ur eye
