No, lipliner is not good, but it might be better with a matching lipgloss, but not with sheer gloss.

NO. Unless it's a sheer lipliner, the YES.
It can be done properly. Unfortunately, if your gloss has no moisturizer to it, you end up with ';feathering'; (your lip liner gets flaky). At least that's my problem.





I usually use a lip liner, a shade darker than my natural lip color. But I use the liner to shade in my lips - not line them. I just shade the centre of my lips, it makes your lips look bigger - then I put the gloss over.





However, using a lip liner that is a different color than your lips, or not shading in your lips with it is a bad idea...
i thought lipliner was supposed to go with lipstick. doesnt it seem a bit harsh with lip gloss?
If you put the lipliner all over your lips, to fill it in with a natural color- then it is nice.

I agree with nicole c. Lip liner is soo old ladyish and ugly! It looks like chapped lips!
