What's the point of invisible lipliner?

benefit cosmetics makes one but i don't get why. easy 10 points!What's the point of invisible lipliner?
invisible lip liner is the best


it defines the line of your lip for your lipstick/lipgloss and prevents any bleeding of colour


it goes with any colour of lipstick/gloss and save you having 17 different coloured pencils


and not all of us like the ';my lip liner is a different shade to my lipstick'; porn star look

I kinda agree with most of the answers, but still agree with you about there reasoning for invisible lip liner, what's the point if it's invisible. You can easily try a neutral color that will do the same thing??????????????????????????????
When women get older their lip line becomes less distinct causing the lipstick to ';bleed'; off their mouth. The invisible lip liner helps create a lip line without the color.

it sets a line for your lip. Once you use it you should put on lip stick/gloss and it will stay on your lip line
You can use it with any colour lip gloss or lip stick. It helps for your lip colour to stay on longer and not bleed out, especially if you are a smoker and have fine lines around your mouth, they bleed out more.


Also I think it is a great idea to have a invisible one because too many ppl make the mistake of thinking you should be able to see your lip liner!! ewww it is only for helping ot keep lip colour on and should be the SAME colour!
So your lips can get conditioned and will shine.
ohh you put it on before applyin glip gloss if you dont have a ';normal'; colored lip, that way it loooks like you lips are fuller, because it changes the texture of th eskin to match that of lips =]
It Makes It Easier To Apply Lipstick Or Gloss Afterwards.
I've heard that lip liner should be the color of ur lips and not the color of wat you put on. It's just to protect the gloss or lipstick from smearing and feathering.
So that the lip color doesn't ';feather out'; onto the skin. It is also easier to use since you don't have to worry about matching colors. I think the idea is great to tell you the truth...one less thing I have to worry about when I get ready in the morning LOL
it's just another product they can make money from...
