How do you put on lipliner?

i dont know how to apply it coz whenever i do it looks all shaky and wavy! How do you put on lipliner?
Firstly make sure the liner you are using is not dry.

Steady your elbow on the vanity, counter, your dresser etc.

Hold your lips in a natural way, with just a bit of pressure to make it easier to follow the outline.

Start with top lip. Work from the center out on each side. Do not go all the way to the corner of the mouth. Just to where it meets bottom lip.

on lower lip start on the outside (not all the way in the corner, but where it meets your top lip) and work your way to the center. do the same on the other side.

If you simply want the liner to keep the lipstick from feathering use a shade as close as you can to you lipstick. If you are lookinf for a more dramatic effect use a liner that is a bit darker than the lipstickHow do you put on lipliner?
I found the best way to get an even line is to dot the corners of your mouth, the tops of the bows of your top lip and two dots even with those on your bottom lips. Then just connect the dots and you will get a more precise line by making a series of smaller lines. Depending on the look, I take a Q-tip and smudge so it's not such an obvious line. Also I apply some bbalm or vaseline first and wipe it off so the pencil goes on smoother.
Hold the corners of your mouth tight and line your lips.
brace your hand on your face, so that you wont shake. pick a natural color, only a few shades lighter/darker than your own lipcolor. Apply over your whole lip, not just the outer edges. That will help your lipstick or gloss stay in place.
try studying your elbow on a hard surface, it'll study your hand at the same time. It takes practice though so keep at it
