My Rabbit ate Lipliner, please help?

My 7month old Dwarf rabbit ate a chunk of my lip liner pencil (including the wood). This happened about a week ago. Now, he is fine, energetic and acting normal. Could there be any problems in the future because of this incident? Is he going to be ok? Is there anything I should do to help?My Rabbit ate Lipliner, please help?
He'll be fine. Since it's been a week with no funny reactions, don't worry. Just be sure this doesn't happen frequently! :-)My Rabbit ate Lipliner, please help?
buy him wood sticks and some treat cakes (they are food stuck together with honey) they work well when mine chewed on things
Maybe keep your lip liner out of his reach?

I've had rabbits and guinea pigs do this kind of thing. The lip liner should be nontoxic, since you put it on your lips. And rabbits have perfect teeth for biting off pieces of wood. I can't imagine it's very good for them, but they do eat a very high fiber diet and I've never seen ill effects from it.

Maybe your rabbit needs something to chew on; rabbits' teeth keep growing just like rodents' teeth, and they need to grind them down.
watch for it in his poop. you could probably salvage it
He will be fine...but he is trying to tell you something. It is VERY natural that a rabbit chews.......especially since their teeth are always growing. They must chew to wear down their teeth or they develop problems with eating and die. You're best bet.....go to a pet store and buy a wooden chew block. Your bunny will love you forever. If at first he doesn't take to it....rub a little bit of banana on it....and he will be happy and chewing in no time. Good luck!
if it has been an entire week, he should be just fine. it is probably out of his system by now anyway. did he have other things to chew on? it is good for rabbits to chew on wood and wood sticks or chew toys you can find at a pet store. and from now on, try to keep your makeup off the floor.
