Lip liner's not necessary, but it gives a nice even and finished look. Always make sure your liner matches the colour of your lipstick as much as possible, dark liner with a lighter lipstick is such a bad look! Also as another poster recommends, lipstick with gloss looks great. Is it better to apply lipstick after using a lipliner or its fine even without it?
I have fuller lips so have never used lipliner. As far as im aware though, you should apply lipliner before applying lipstick. Another tip is to put your foundation and powder on your lips aswell then apply lipstick - this tends to make your lipstick stay put for longer
I never use lipliner. You only really use lipliner if you have thin-thinnish lips. If you're like me, and don't have a problem with that, have full lips already, then don't bother with the liner.
You want to apply your lip liner first, then the lipstick, and if you want a gloss.
apply liner b4 but it is ok to go without i do caus i can never get it on even or i just colour the whole lip with liner then use a lippy or gloss overtop.
if you are using a lip liner it should be put before applying lipstick.
Lipliner goes on before lipstick, but it is not necessary. Sometimes I just use lipstick, sometimes just gloss, sometimes lipliner and lipstick and sometimes I color in my lips with the lipliner and top it with gloss.... It gives me different colors and different effects... and different lengths of time that it lasts.
is it better to apply lipstick after using a lipliner or its fine even with out it?
apply lipliner b4 lipstick
Lipliner you only use if its a dark colour... but yes lipliner before lipstick.. but lipstick and lipgloss works better
i never use lip liner as a liner, i use it all over the lips, it stays on longer.
