I am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?

don't do it. my friends have had it done and it always looks fake. just wear eyeliner, it's not worth it to get the permanent stuff. it just looks bad.I am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?
ya i have herd of that but i dont think you should get it. its much easier and less expensive to just put on eyelinder. and would if they mess up, or it doesnt look good? then its there FOREVER! i saw this lady who got it done at the salon and she said it hurt really bad too. i dont think u should get it.I am researching permanent eye make-up (eye liner) and I would like input from other women who have had this.?
Well personally I would never get that done. Omg, that just would freak me out, one because I would freak if a needle was that close to my eye. **shudders in horror**. Besides what if I wanna have an eyeliner free day - it's rare for me but I like having no eyeliner sometimes. lmao. And i think it would look weird. Hmm but if people do it, kick ***, more power to them.

That's my opinion,

blondie.
woww. ive heard of people getting eyeliner tattoed to themselves
I know a woman who had this done to her eyebrows. After several years, her permanet makeup looked really purple. I also know another woman who got permanet lipstick. The lipstick did not take.

Neither woman was happy with the result.

Is it true that if you sleep with mascara or eye liner u will get permanent dark rings under your eyes?

Not true but it sure isnt healthy for your eyelashes, They need to breathe and grow that is why its best to wash it off at night.

If not it can contirbute to your lashes falling out or not growing.

%26lt;3Is it true that if you sleep with mascara or eye liner u will get permanent dark rings under your eyes?
sorry but it is true you should never never sleep with eye make-up on you're eyelashes are going to be gone in three yearsIs it true that if you sleep with mascara or eye liner u will get permanent dark rings under your eyes?
no, i fall asleep with no makeup on all the time, and dark circles are genetic not from sleeping with makeup
i doubt it why would that happen. besides the eyeliner would probably rub off
haha..no i do that and i dont have any rings
yes, don't sleep with makeup
Not that I heard of but one important thing, do not sleep with the mascara or eye liner. Its not good in long term as the skin might be hurt in long term due to the chemicals that will pentrate to your skin.
No, old wives tale! However, it is good to take off your make up before you go to sleep.
No that is not true there is no way that mascara can change the pigment in your skin. But you should take off your make up before you go to bed it's better for your skin.
False
i don't think so....but I have heard that sleeping with make up increases the aging process. I dunno
i don't think so. i sleep with my make-up on even though i shouldn't.
Pro artist here, listen girls take your makeup off before you go to bed! no it will not create permanent dark circles, but sleeping in any makeup clogs pores, causes lash breakage, and prematurely ages your skin. If you want eye wrinkles at 29 instead of 39, then keep sleeping in your makeup. Use a gentle cleanser, whether regular or for waterproof makeup. Use warm, not hot water, and don't tug at the eye area, that does break small blood vessels and will cause permanent dark circles. I know, that most of you are young, and don't have wrinkles, lines, furrows, etc, but you will thank me when you are older. I'm 37 and 2 days ago someone mistook me for 29.
Haha no. I sleep with eye makeup all the time and I have no rings under my eyes.
Nope, but it might make your lashes weak and prone to shed more than normal.
I've never heard of that but I can see where leaving mascara on over night could weaken your eyelashes, causing unwanted breakage. As for eyeliner I know when i've done it my eyes sometimes got get irritated and itchy.
No, but don't do it, it'll leave rings but it's not permanent.
no
no no no lol..you may wake up with major smearage..but a bit of vaseline and a cloth will take it right off after your shower..lol..
No, you can still take it off easily the next day.
definitely not
False; but it is bad to sleep with makeup, CLEAN IT! what you could end having is pink eye!!
i do not think that is true.
Absolutely NOT TRUE. I am 19 years old and I have been where both eye liner and mascara since I was 15 and I have fell asleep numbers of times without taken it off. You will wake up looking like a raccoon but it comes off. Just buy you some make up removers and take it off like that. But NO you cant get permanent rings around your eyes after sleeping with eye liner and mascara on!
no way I have done it for 30 years and no dark circles for me.
The makeup should come off if you have makeup remover!!!

Permanent lip liner?

Any permanent lip liner disasters out there other than wrong color?Permanent lip liner?
Don't do it, it fades and most doctors don't put it on the right places, so it makes your lips look huge, but not in a good way. %26lt;3Permanent lip liner?
I knew one who did black then it turns out to be violet. Her lips looked like she had heart problems... CREEPY!
My mom's friend had it done and they kind of went outside the lines of her mouth, and now she looks like the Joker.

Also, she says that she can only use one color lipstick now, because the rest don't match the lip liner tattoo.

Don't do it!!!!!!
the color fades
PLZ DONT DO IT CUZ THEN,WHAT IF U MEET A COOL GUY THAT DOESNT LIKE MAKEUP ON YOU

Permanent Eye Liner?

Any problems with getting it done? Tips? suggestions? anything?Permanent Eye Liner?
It looks weird when you go to put eye-shadow over it.Permanent Eye Liner?
1] research all places before you decide to get it done. Look for pics of satisfied customers, and DON'T go there if no pics.

2] I did brows and liner because I have very little of either, and they 'hairs' I have are almost colorless.

3] most places will apply numbing cream before hand - but it is NOT painless

4] do take some ibuprofen or tylenol afterwards, and use ice a few times the first day [ ice in zip lock bag, covered with paper towel or thin cloth] for 15 minutes at a time

5] I took a Benadryl the first night to prevent swelling, which worked very well

6] you must apply 'sterile' petroleum jelly three times a day for several days. Put a lot on at home; at work dab it on with a Qtip, an wipe any excess from skin so you won't look shiny.

7] bring a friend, in caseeyes are irritated, to drive home afterwards.

I LOVE MINE!

PERMANENT eye liner.. has anyone had it done?

what is the average cost??

how bad did it hurt?PERMANENT eye liner.. has anyone had it done?
Friend got it done. It dosen't look good. It looks like it hurts. Try Urban Decay's 24/7 glide on eye pencil. They stay on really longPERMANENT eye liner.. has anyone had it done?
i was with my cousin when she had it done. and ya it was painful. it also looks tacky. you'd probably look really pretty without eyeliner but dont get the tatoo stuff. it was just gross watching it being done and you dont want that. trust me. things dont really gross me out but for some reason that did.
it sounds like it would hurt a lot.

wouldn't it just be like getting a tattoo on your eye?
Permanent eyeeliner?

Thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard of. It MUST look fake....
my moms friend had it done.

it looks bad and fake.

  • Does anyone have experience with permanent makeup like eyebrows or lip liner?

I just had permanent eye liner done a couple weeks ago. I am sensitive to regular makeup so this was a way to have some without looking like it's major allergy season all the time. It looks great and natural - I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. You just have to look for someone that is experienced. Look at their pictures and get recommendations if possible.

There is no general anesthetic. They have an anesthetic gel that is mainly lidocaine they put on the area and then it is about a half hour for it to work before they start the process. It is just tattooing it on. It can be a bit uncomfortable - the eye-liner they kind of have to hold you eyelids open but you just have to relax as each pass only takes about 30 seconds. During the proceedure if you start feeling pain you can ask for more gel to be applied. It was about an hour and a half from when i walked in to when I walked out. Like any tattoo you have to take care of it - keep it moisturized and it will flake and fade in healing from what it first looks like. the place i got mine has a follow-up in 4-5 weeks in case you want it darker (better to be to light than too dark) which I will have - just a tad darker on the bottom lids. Of course right after it is a bit red and swollen but that goes away fast. You can choose different pigments - I just had black and a brownish for the lower but some people like blue or purple. I have a friend getting her eye liner and lip liner done this week. they say the lips are more sensitive and I would imagine the brows less.

so theres my first hand experience. You can email me if you have any questions.Does anyone have experience with permanent makeup like eyebrows or lip liner?
its not a good thang!Does anyone have experience with permanent makeup like eyebrows or lip liner?
Permanent make-up (tattoos) is what you are talking about. I have a close friend who has had it done. If your health is great and you want a tattoo seek a professional shop that has done this for some time. Eye makeup (eye liner) requires that you be put under general anesthesia, My friend is diabetic and over weight, she coded two times on the table. This can be a major medical procedure. How ever if you are in great health go for it but first check out some of their previous patients and their work- Because ITS PERMANENT if they put it on heaver than you like it tooo bad. My friend does always look freshly made up and she got a good job done. Good luck and do your home work before you submit your self.
I don't have experience per say, however about ten years ago I did check into getting permanent eyeliner. It was going to cost me three hundred dollars, and they could only do one eye at the time, doing the other six weeks later. She told me the reason for this is that the eye would be swollen and turn black. To make a long story short. I chickened out.
I have seen it on people and a couple looked horrible. Just make sure it is a reputable place doing it. The eyebrows I saw looked too fake. I just figured these women had an inexperienced tattoo artist.
my lunch lady does call her at 1-440-i-suck
I ONLY KNOW A COUPLE OF PEOPLE WITH IT- BUT THEIRS LOOKS LIKE PENCIL LINER- NOT A NATURAL ENHANCEMENT...BUT LIKE WELL..PERMANENT MAKEUP.
I don't have personal exsperience, but i did see a show where the lady had a permanent lip liner and over time her skin loosened so the lip line started upward and over time it was in the middle of her lip.Maybe you can give some thought to that
If seeing some one with permanent eyebrows is experience, then yest I have experience. It looks ridiculous and stupid. I do not understand why people do that. Don't do it.
permanent and makeup sounds just as scary as eating something in the airport from the TERMINAL snack bar LOL

um permanent like how you can rub sharpie from the table or permanent like oilbase primer on your bran new tiled floor?

either way it sounds like a bad idea and I think you would probably be cute without any at all!

better stick to the stuff you buy at the store!
I don't have experience, but my friend has it. She has permanant eyebrows, well it's under her eyebrow just so she knows where to pluck, she also has eyeliner and lip liner that are permanant. They look very good, but the eye procedure is a bit riskey...be careful, do more research yourself too...remember once it's there, you have it forever.
